Limestone and cedars

Digital Photo by Richard McGuire

This rocky outcrop of limestone is found at the exit from the Bonnechere Caves. These caves were carved out of limestone by the flow of water. The tunnels and passageways of the caves extend deep underground, but these caves are much newer than some in other parts of North America and the world.
