Found this image by accident, but just wanted to say that I absolutely love it! The colour, brightness, subject bring out some great feelings (I’m from this area). Love the blog as well – keep up the good work!

Description

The Bruce Peninsula is part of the Niagara Escarpment, a long limestone ridge extending from northern Ontario to Niagara Falls. The peninsula separates Lake Huron from Georgian Bay. Although there were great efforts to colonize it in the 19th century and early 20th, the inhospitable soils caused many farms to fail and be abandoned. This old house near Barrow Bay stands as a reminder of that difficult past. HDR.
