Exposed to the Elements

Travelling through the Alberta prairie, you often see wind-battered old farm buildings. As prairie farms tend to be much larger than those in other provinces, often signs of human habitation are few and far between. In many areas, cattle vastly outnumber humans, though grains are the major farming activity in the central Alberta area pictured here.
