La Ronda, Old Quito, EcuadorDigital Photo by Richard McGuire The colonial street known as La Ronda in Quito's old town is a narrow cobbled street lined with houses and balconies -- one of the oldest in Quito. Efforts are being made to clean up the area and make it safer, but it's still in a rough area where muggings and bag snatchings do occur.
