The end of Canada — Point Pelee, Ontario

The southern tip of mainland Canada is nothing more than a long sand bar in Lake Erie covered in gulls. My camera’s GPS attachment shows the latitude of this shot is 41º 54′ 32″ — roughly the latitude of Istanbul, Rome, Barcelona and northern California. Several Canadian islands in Lake Erie, including Pelee Island, are actually a bit farther south.
