Abraham Lake, Alberta
Digital Print from Kodachrome Original by Richard McGuire
Cloudscape over Abraham Lake along the David Thompson Highway in Alberta. Abraham Lake is the result of the Big Horn Dam on the North Saskatchewan River.
Visitors to the Rocky Mountains in Alberta typically take either the Trans-Canada or Yellowhead highways. Located roughly midway between the two, the David Thompson Highway offers spectacular views and is less developed.
