Tulips, Ottawa, OntarioDigital Photo by Richard McGuire While these tulips are the more common shade of red, tulips in Ottawa actually come in many more colors and varieties. There's even a dark blue tulip so dark it appears black. During the annual Tulip Festival, locals and visitors admire the thousands of tulips in downtown parks and along Ottawa's Rideau Canal.
