Canada's Parliament Buildings
at Tulip Time
Digital Photo by Richard McGuire
At the end of
April and several weeks into May, Ottawa, Canada's capital, is a
kaleidoscope of tulips. Ottawa was home to the Dutch royal family during
World War II, and the tulip tradition has remained. The Tulip Festival
is an annual celebration.
Behind is the distinctive
Peace Tower of the Centre Block, the main building that houses the House
of Commons and the Senate chambers.
